  17. <p>    She has always liked the sound of her own voice, and used
  18. to warble to the crowds at her husband's election rallies. Now
  19. former Philippine First Lady Imelda Marcos is hoping to reach
  20. a less captive audience in the U.S. with the release this week
  21. of a cassette of twelve "songs of love and friendship" that she
  22. recorded with Philippine pop singer Imelda Papin. Titled Imelda
  23. Papin Featuring Imelda Romualdez Marcos, the cassette will be
  24. produced in a limited edition of 5,000, and includes five solos
  25. by Mrs. Marcos. Papin says the songs, including Feelings and I
  26. Just Called to Say I Love You, are all beloved tunes of the
  27. ailing Ferdinand Marcos. If Mrs. Marcos is looking for a
  28. surefire hit, she might consider Blue Suede Shoes.
